Class Rules and Cancellation Policy

Things you should do

Arrive at your language class on time, ready to learn.

Stay present and engaged throughout the class. If you must excuse yourself, please inform the teacher.

All students under the age of 12 should have an adult nearby throughout the class in case of an emergency.

Anybody viewed on camera must be fully clothed (an appropriate top and bottom).

Keep your camera on at all times.

Be respectful of the teacher and fellow learners.

Try your best, and do not be afraid to ask questions!

Things you should NOT do

Do not take pictures or videos of the screen without the teacher's permission (this will only be allowed in private classes).

Do not use one device for multiple students simultaneously unless approved by Home Style Teachers.

Do not curse or use derogatory language or gestures.

*Consequences for (minor) students that do not comply will be discussed in the free 30-minute consultation.

Cancellation Policy

Classes may not be cancelled. However, students can reschedule private lessons if given at least 6 hours' notice.
-
If the student cancels after 6 hours or does not attend the lesson, they will still pay the total price for the class.

If a student is 15 minutes late to class (or more), the teacher will consider the lesson cancelled by the student.
Personalized Schedule
Choose a schedule every week to suit your needs. With a 6-hour cancellation policy and classes available in-person or online, classes are conducted when convenient for you.

Your Home Style Teacher will tailor the materials and methods used in class to fit your learning style and interests.
